Private Events


Our tasting room is available for private events when the tasting room is closed. Perfect for a bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, retirement party, birthday, anniversary, family gathering, or corporate retreat, we hope you’ll consider BlueJacket Crossing for your next event. You are welcome to bring in your own food or hire a caterer of your choice.

Private Events
The tasting room at BlueJacket Crossing is available for private events that start at 5:30 PM or later, or end by 12 PM, Thursday-Sunday. We welcome brunch events and dinners. Events M-W are dependent on availability of staff but are possible between the hours of 8 AM and 9 PM.  We provide assistance with set up and clean up, and those activities can take place during open tasting room hours. (For example, we can start setting up between 3-4 for an event, or clean up can start at 12.) 

All private events include staffing, table rounds, 6 foot rectangular tables, black chairs, stemware or plastic punch cups, set-up, breakdown, and assistance with clean up. We also offer black table linens and wine-themed centerpieces or large black lanterns; these are available for your use at no charge. During private events, the entire space is yours, including the outdoor patios and the seating available outside.

Event Structure & Pricing Options

  • Option 1 – Event fee with wine credit:
    Private events, including dinners, showers, banquets, and private parties are $310 + taxes + gratuity, which includes a $200 credit toward wine/sangria.
    Private events include 3 hours of event time between 8 AM – 12 PM or 5:30 PM – 10 PM Thurs-Sun, or 3 hours of time between 9 AM – 10 PM Mon-Weds. All events include staffing, tables, chairs, water carafes, lanterns/wine-cork centerpieces, black table linens, and assistance with set up and clean-up. The $200 wine credit can be used for an open bar stocked with your choice of any BlueJacket wines, sangria, or a combination. Additional wine/sangria is available to purchase. Any remaining or unopened wine can be re-corked/boxed and is yours to take home.
  • Option 2 – Private Tasting:
    For $12/guest age 21+ and $8/guest ages 5-20, we can provide a seated guided tasting of 5 wines, a keepsake glass, and one full glass of the guest’s wine of choice. For guests under the age of 21, we would offer a sparkling punch, cider, or Izze.
  • Option 3 – Room fee + Cash Bar:
    The room fee is $75/hour and we require a deposit of $65 for alcohol purchases. This is refundable if guests spend (in total) a minimum of $65.
  • Weddings
    We can accommodate weddings for up to 75 guests when the tasting room is closed. We serve and support people of all identities and are happy to host same sex/LGBTQIA+ weddings. Pricing is based on the size and scale of your event. Click here for more information.

We will add applicable taxes and 18% gratuity to the total for all events.

Wine and Sangria Purchases

  • We are happy to provide the wines of your choice at private events.
  • A custom batch of sangria is available for $3 per serving.
  • Non-alcoholic options are available if arranged with the event coordinator in advance.
  • Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. Exceptions may be made for beer if coordinated in advance. Restrictions apply.

You are welcome to bring in your own food or have a caterer of your choice provide food. We recommend Maceli’s, Merchant’s, and HyVee.

Set up/Clean up
Our staff will clean up the space, we just ask that you remove all items you bring in with you. We will also assist with set up.

White floor-length table linens, a full wine tasting, yoga, catering coordination, keepsake glasses, flatware/serving-ware rentals, etc., are available, just ask! We are happy to accommodate additional requests and offer reasonable prices on extra services.

Add additional space, an extra bathroom, and a night at the vineyard by booking our Airbnb! (Bookings are only made through Airbnb’s website.)

To book: We require a $50 deposit and a signed contract. We will invoice you for the remaining amount 2 days before the event and for additional alcohol purchases the day after the event.
